Daniel joined the global accounting firm Arthur Andersen & Co. (“AA”) in Beijing in 1993 and was seconded to AA in Washington DC, the USA from 1994 to 1996. He became a partner of PwC in 2005. From 2007 to 2010, Daniel was again seconded to PwC in Perth, Australia as Partner to assist Chinese companies acquiring assets in Australia. Currently Daniel serves as the Lead Partner in charge of Capital Markets Services in China North region.
Throughout his over 20 years career, Daniel has established deep knowledge of different accounting standards and regulations (PRC, US GAAPs and IFRS), as well as practical experience in the applications of those international accounting standards to assist China-based clients to solve the complex accounting issues. He has worked with domestic government-owned or private-owned enterprises and international clients on restructuring, public offering, M&A, privatisation and other due diligence assignments, covered industries including utility, telecommunications, technology, entertainment, retail & consumers, e-commerce.
Daniel is an experienced member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He currently serves as the Executive Member of Beijing ICPA.
Daniel graduated from University of International Business and Economics in 1991 in China and holds Bachelor of Arts, Economics.
