Alumni

If you register for our alumni programme we may collect and process the following personal information about you:

  • Contact details (e.g. name, salutation, personal email address, mobile number, WeChat ID, current city of residence, LinkedIn URL);
  • Past employment history with PwC (e.g. onboarding date, offboarding date, office location, LoS/industry group/department, Staff ID, leaving grade);
  • Current employment details (e.g. company name, position, business email, phone number, preferred mode of contact); and
  • Other personal information (e.g., your point of contact in PwC, industry sectors of interest, business interest/issues, preference for career opportunities at PwC, and other personal information provided by you).

We generally collect personal information from you directly through our online alumni registration form. We may also collect information from publicly available sources on need basis.

As our valued alumnus, we may leverage your provided information to:

  • administer, manage and update alumni information database, including confirming your identity as an alumnus;
  • send you communications including newsletters, publications, information about upcoming events, seminars or webcasts, surveys, and PwC’s latest insights and activities in major business and industry areas that may interest you;
  • invite you to attend brand defining events, and participate in forums, etc.;
  • help you build and sustain relationships with other alumni; and
  • keep you abreast of PwC’s career opportunities that may interest you.

Social networking sites

We may collect information which you have made publicly available on your social networking account, such as your name and your interests in our products and services, when you interact with us on our pages at social networking sites. The social networking sites may provide statistics and insights to us which help us understand the types of actions that people take on our pages. Where applicable, we and the social media site(s) have entered into an arrangement which determines our respective responsibilities.

We may collect content that you provide, including but not limited to postings on any blogs, forums, wikis and other social media applications and services that we may provide.

Enquiry or others

We collect personal information when an individual gets in touch with us with a question, complaint or feedback (such as name, contact details and contents of the communication). In these cases, the individual is in control of the personal information shared with us. We only use the data as necessary to respond to the communication or resolve the complaint.
