Supporting local knowledge sharing and industry dialogue on tokenised money

Hong Kong, 15 September 2026—Anchorpoint Financial Limited (Anchorpoint) today announced the launch of the Tokenised Money Adoption Programme (TAP), an industry initiative focused on education, research and dialogue relating to tokenised money in Hong Kong. PwC Hong Kong has joined TAP as its inaugural strategic partner under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the two organisations.

The programme is being launched as regulated tokenised money moves from infrastructure development towards practical implementation and commercial applications in Hong Kong. Following the commencement of beta access for HKDAP, Anchorpoint’s regulated Hong Kong dollar-backed stablecoin, the company sees a need for greater industry discussion around the use, operation and application of tokenised money.

TAP will bring together stakeholders across financial services, payments, technology, digital assets and the corporate sector through workshops, research initiatives and industry discussions. The programme will focus on three areas: education and enablement of tokenised products and services, research and development of technical and market standards, and exploration of real-world use cases for tokenised money.

As inaugural strategic partner, PwC Hong Kong will contribute its industry experience and insights to support TAP’s education and research activities.
