Joe serves as the Global Chief AI Officer for the PwC Network of Firms. As a member of the Global Commercial Leadership Team, Joe works with the Global practice and market leaders to bring the power of AI to our clients and enhance our delivery models. Joe also shapes the firm’s upskilling and working practices, encompassing more than 360k people worldwide.

As the former Chief Products & Technology Officer, Joe was a member of the US Leadership Team, responsible for leading the firm through its digital transformation, including accelerating growth in go-to-market digital solutions, as well as the firmwide technology capabilities. Joe was Co-Chair of the firm’s AI Executive Council, overseeing its $1 billion investment to expand and scale the firm’s AI capabilities.

Wilson heads PwC’s global technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry practice. He is also the TMT industry leader and Artificial Intelligence leader for the firm’s Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong practice. Wilson is based in PwC China’s Shenzhen office.

Emerging technologies and digital deployment are redefining all industries and businesses. They also lead to rapid growth and developments of companies in the TMT industry. Wilson has been leading and supporting the PwC global network across all lines of service - Assurance, Taxation and Advisory - to provide one-stop professional solutions and services to companies in the TMT industry, as well as to clients looking for reinventing themselves through digital transformations.

Wilson has been working in the public accounting practice in Mainland China and Hong Kong for more than 30 years. He has extensive experience in providing assurance and advisory services to companies in the TMT industry, ranging from start-ups to global tech giants, for capital market transactions, assurance engagements, systems and controls advisory, and deals. 

He is a practising member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Accountants, China Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Wilson is also an adviser to the Internet Advertising Board of Hong Kong.

Hemione is the Chair and CEO of PwC China, leading PwC’s businesses in China, Hong Kong and Macau. Prior to this, Hemione was PwC’s Global Risk and Regulatory Officer, where she was responsible for setting the framework for and monitoring risk management and regulation across the international PwC network. She has also been a member of the UK Management Board for eight years where she was the UK Head of Audit and the firm’s Head of Reputation until July 2024.

Hemione is currently the senior relationship partner for number of global clients, including HSBC, Astra Zeneca and Jardines. She has specialised in auditing and advising clients in the banking and broader financial services sectors, and has worked with a range of Global, European and UK-based clients. She has also been a member of the UK firm’s external governance body, the Public Interest Body, and was instrumental in setting up the Audit Oversight Body including the recruitment of the Independent Non-Executives.

Ms. Shimin Jiang, Director of Ecosystem Development and Operations at Huawei Cloud Hong Kong, is responsible for leading the development of the technical partner network and the developer ecosystem across the Hong Kong and Macau markets. She drives the onboarding and collaboration with consulting firms, ISVs, and system integration partners, and leads her team in building innovative solutions that deliver business success. A key focus of her work is cultivating the developer and start up ecosystems. By engaging with universities and nurturing start ups, she drives talent development and technological innovation, ensuring the long term vitality and sustainable growth of the cloud ecosystem.

With nearly ten years of experience at Huawei, Ms. Jiang previously held roles in the Group Public Relations Department and the Huawei Cloud Global Ecosystem Department, where she managed strategic software partnerships in the mainland market and led key projects supporting Chinese enterprises in their global expansion.

Charles Lee is the Vice Chair and the Managing Partner of PwC China, leading the day-to-day operations of the firm and overseeing our Tax, Deals and Consulting businesses.

Charles has over 30 years of professional experiences, with an in-depth understanding of the regulatory environments, corporate structuring, and market dynamics across Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong.

His extensive background includes serving a diverse client portfolio, specialising in tax and business advisory services. He has extensive experience in guiding clients through the execution of their China and global strategies, advising on their business arrangement, operating structures, and facilitating their digital and tax transformations. His expertise spans across multiple sectors, with a focus on driving strategic growth and fostering strong client relationships.

Before joining PwC in 1994, Charles worked at the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department. Prior to becoming the Managing Partner, Charles served as the China Tax Leader, where he was instrumental in driving the strategy and execution of quality business and people.

Charles serves as Treasurer of the Community Chest of Hong Kong. He is the fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He is also certified tax agent in Qianhai of China.

James Lee is a Partner at PwC Hong Kong Consulting and he oversees the data, AI and emerging technology consulting practice.

James is a Senior Technology Executive and Management Consulting Leader specialising in advising global organisations on “data-driven, AI-powered” digital transformation (from strategy to execution) with data, AI and intelligent automation.

Over 20 years of strategy consulting and technology operation experience in North America, Asia and Europe that spanned across various industries including insurance, banking, retail, telecommunications and asset management. Experienced in building and leading culturally diverse, multi-competency teams in driving data-driven innovations and operationalising large scale, high impact digital transformations.

A past entrepreneur with strong blend of executive leadership, fintech network and technology background - Extensive board advisory experience with a balanced perspective in helping C-Suite clients understand and leverage the power of Cloud, Analytics and Automation within the context of their business.

Ms Vivian Lin joined HKPC in 2013 and has over 30 years of experience in her profession of financial management in large corporations. Ms Lin is responsible for overseeing HKPC’s secretariat service for Government funding schemes. She is tasked with leading, integrating, cross-fertilising and leveraging the funding schemes to upgrade and transform the industries as well as proactively pulsing enterprise and industry needs, developing and enhancing the schemes to serve industry-wide business. Furthermore, under her leadership, HKPC has been designated jointly by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) for establishing the Hong Kong Technology and Innovation Support Centre, which will provide assistance and services to researchers and innovators, with a view to further promoting Hong Kong’s development as a regional intellectual property (IP) trading centre.

Before her present position, Ms Lin has been leading the finance and procurement arm of HKPC to provide effective services and solutions to business divisions and subsidiaries to the Council, achieving operational excellence in finance and procurement through process simplification and digitalisation. She is also experienced in liaising and collaborating with government authorities. Prior to joining HKPC, Ms Lin worked in Philips Healthcare for 15 years with commercial exposure in Asia Pacific region.

Ms Lin graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and received a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Manchester, UMIST, UK. She is also a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

Esther Mai is a leader in the Hong Kong retail banking industry. She has rich experience in Digital, Customer Experience & Operations.

Esther joined Standard Chartered as International Graduate, and has held leadership positions in Risk Management, Operations and Digital Banking. She was the founding member and Chief Operating Officer of Mox Bank since its inception in 2018. Together with the team, she built the Bank from scratch and made it one of the top virtual banks in Hong Kong.

Esther rejoined Standard Chartered Hong Kong in early 2023, with the aspiration to transform banking via technology, innovation, and a sustainable operating model. Under her leadership, the Bank has launched its new mobile app in early 2024, and elevated the customer digital experience since. In 2024, Standard Chartered Hong Kong was named the Best Mobile Banking Service by The Asian Banker, and has taken home the EuroMoney Award for Excellence as Hong Kong’s Best Digital Bank.

Vishy is PwC’s Asia Pacific Digital and AI Leader, and a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Leadership Team.

With 20+ years of experience leading organisations across professional services, healthcare, TMT and digital services, he plays a central role in shaping and executing the firm’s AI transformation strategies globally and regionally, with a focus on Technology, Transformation, and Trust. He has practical experience with cyber, cloud, mobile, social, IoT, and Generative AI platforms.

As co-author of PwC’s AI Leadership Playbook, Vishy is recognised as an influential voice on responsible, scalable, and sector-aligned AI adoption. He has created and delivered 20+ masterclasses across Asia Pacific, guiding C-suites on driving the AI agenda and embedding trust and transformation in leadership.

In his additional roles as Network AI Leader and SEA Digital Strategy Leader, Vishy champions a connected execution model that integrates PwC’s alliance ecosystem and sector insights to deliver tangible business outcomes.

Vishy frequently speaks at conferences and is a thought leader on digital transformation, customer engagement, and diversity & inclusion, focusing on practical applications, ethical considerations, and the latest advancements in Generative and Agentic AI.

Dr Jonnie Penn, FRSA, is an Associate Teaching Professor of AI Ethics and Society at the University of Cambridge. He is a historian of technology, a #1 New York Times bestselling author, and public speaker. Penn serves as a Faculty Affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University, a Research Fellow and Teaching Associate at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, a Bye Fellow at St. Edmund’s College and as an Senior Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence. 

He was formerly a MIT Media Lab Assembly Fellow, Google Technology Policy Fellow, Fellow of the British National Academy of Writing and popular broadcaster.

As National Technology Officer at Microsoft Hong Kong, Fred Sheu supports policy decision and delivers technologically relevant solutions into Hong Kong market. Fred’s main objectives are to align IT value propositions to public policies in such areas as healthcare, education, the environment, and local social and economic development; and to promote a digital agenda in top policy areas, including innovation, AI, security and privacy, technology neutrality, accessibility, and interoperability.

Prior to Microsoft, Fred worked with Hewlett Packard (HP) Enterprise where he was the General Manager of Software for HPE Hong Kong.

Fred Sheu is a seasoned leader in Hong Kong’s ICT sector, having served in advisory roles across the Hong Kong Computer Society, itSMF Hong Kong Chapter, and the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation (HKITF). He currently sits on the Innovation and Technology Training Board (ITBB) of VTC and convenes its IT sub-committee.

Fred also contributes to government and industry development as a member of OGCIO’s “IT Innovation Lab in Schools” Program, Chairman of the Innovation, Data & Communication Committee at the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, and member of the HKSAR Digital Economy Development Committee’s Talent Development subgroup.

He currently lectures on AI for Business at both the University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, he holds the position of Adjunct Professor at City University of Hong Kong.

Fred graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Computer Science (Hon) degree.

Horatio Wong is the Head of Consulting and a member of the Management Board of PwC China. With over 20 years of industry and consulting experience, Horatio is a trusted advisor to many multinational corporations and local enterprises, having guided them through complex transformations with a keen focus on business and technology innovation.

Horatio’s expertise spans business and operational strategy, digital transformation strategic planning and execution, operational model design, and large-scale application development. He has spearheaded initiatives that leverage artificial intelligence and emerging technology to drive efficiency and innovation across various industries, helping companies harness the power of AI and technologies to enhance decision-making, optimise processes, and deliver enhanced customer experiences.

Horatio has worked with clients in over 30 countries, and he is well-known for his unique perspective on innovative solutions and his ability to integrate technology solutions into business strategies that has enabled companies to achieve significant competitive advantages and operational excellence. 

In addition, Horatio is the Global Relationship Partner and lead account partner for a number of major Chinese enterprises in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) and Retail and Consumer (R&C) sectors, assisting them in strategising, planning, investing, and executing business and technology transformations.

Horatio holds a master’s degree in Telecommunications from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, along with dual bachelor’s degrees in engineering and science from the University of Melbourne.  

Leon Yu is a highly accomplished technology leader with over two decades of experience across various facets of the telecommunications and cloud computing industries. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of Global Markets, Global Ecosystem for Huawei Cloud, where he spearheads the development and management of a robust partner network across multiple overseas regions. His strategic role focuses on cultivating partnerships with developers, technology partners, consulting firms, academia, and private equity groups to drive innovation and strengthen Huawei Cloud’s core functionalities.

Previously, Leon was the Vice President of EMEA, Global Ecosystem at Huawei Cloud, where he successfully led the company’s ecosystem expansion across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. His work was instrumental in building collaborative efforts that propelled Huawei’s growth in these key markets.

Before his tenure at Huawei Cloud, Leon was the Managing Director of Aspiegel SE UK Branch, a wholly-owned Huawei subsidiary for HMS service in UK, EU and North American regions and Global Director of Developer Technology and Engineering at Huawei Consumer Business Group. In this capacity, he bridged the gap between business partners and developers ecosystem to foster innovation in applications and services on Harmony OS and Huawei Mobile Services. His leadership extended to managing non-profit technology communities globally, advocating for developer interests within Huawei.

His extensive experience also includes roles such as Director of Cloud Core Network at Huawei key accounts, where he managed P&L of Business Unit and routine marketing and solution sales for cutting-edge cloud products and services. With a technical foundation rooted in his earlier roles as Senior Product Manager, Principal Solution Architect, and Software Engineer, Leon has consistently demonstrated his ability to navigate complex technical landscapes while driving strategic business growth.

Throughout his career, Leon has been recognised for his ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, foster strategic partnerships, and deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the global technology market.
