Kenneth Wong is a Tax Partner in the International Tax and Mergers and Acquisitions group of PwC Hong Kong. He is also the leader of Hong Kong Tax Controversy Services group. He serves a wide range of clients including multi-national corporations and Chinese enterprises mainly in the consumer and industrial products, retail, technology and telecommunications industries. Kenneth has extensive experience in Hong Kong and international tax consulting and planning work, including corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, tax due diligence, IPOs, etc. In addition, he has significant local tax dispute resolution experience and has successfully helped many multinational and listed companies settle tax investigation and Board of Review cases with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department.
Kenneth is a regular speaker at seminars organised by Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors, Accounting Development Foundation, CCH and CPA Australia. He has written several articles in the Tax Column of the ACCA journals and the International Tax Review.
Kenneth graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in Business Administration and Finance. He is the President of Institute of Accountants Exchange, a Committee Member and the Co-chairman of the Tax Sub-committee of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant. He is also the Honourable Committee Member of the China Certified Tax Agents Association and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong.
