Alvina Chin

Alvina is a US tax partner of PwC Hong Kong. She has over 15 years of experience in providing US tax compliance and advisory services to investment funds, high net-worth individuals, multinationals and publicly listed companies.

Alvina has broad knowledge in asset and wealth management. Her clients include both Hong Kong based and regional fund managers located in Singapore, Korea and Japan. She advises on fund and investment management company structuring, investment transactions (e.g. due diligence, corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions), compensation planning, US tax and reporting matters for hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds. On top of assisting FATCA and CRS reporting for her clients, Alvina also has in depth experience in handling US tax structuring and M&A related work for corporations.

Alvina received a BA from the University of Waterloo in Canada. She is a US Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
