PwC is proud to have supported several olympic bids on the field of sustainability, olympic legacy, infrastructure legacy, cost reduction and project management - fields that are pillars of Agenda 2020 declared by IOC in 2014 and determining the basis of the 2024 Olympic games.

Among others PwC participated in projects in relation to:

  • Sochi 2014 
  • London 2012 
  • Vancouver 2010 
  • Beijing 2008

Apart from the Olympic Games PwC has provided advisory services in the near past to events like the Univarsiade in Kazan and prepared various analysis on infratstructural challenges for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brasil. 

The firm is also experienced in preparation and analysis of olympic budgeting. Since 2000 five Olympic Games were supported by PwC on this field: Pyeongchang, Sochi, Beijing, Athens and Sydney. Moreover PwC experts also supported megaevents in IT and HR-related projects.
