SWIFT Customer Security Programme

In response to a number of high profile security incidents related to the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (“SWIFT”) payment system that were reported since 2016, SWIFT has introduced the Customer Security Programme (“CSP”) with a common set of security controls to its SWIFT customers to foster a more secure financial ecosystem. 

SWIFT customers are required to implement all of the mandatory security controls, and complete self-attestation by 1 January 2018 and on an annual basis thereafter. Read our paper for details on the key requirements for compliance with SWIFT CSP.
