2016 PwC Global Economic Crime Survey – mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau Supplement
Welcome to PwC’s 2016 Global Economic Crime Survey – Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau Supplement (GEC Survey, the Survey). Drawn from PwC’s 2016 Global Economic Crime Survey which is based on 6,337 respondents from 115 jurisdictions and territories worldwide, this biennial survey addresses the corporate experience and response to economic crime. The Hong Kong, Macau, and mainland China Supplement, which is based on an online survey of nearly 200 senior business people who live and work in these markets, marks the second consecutive supplement to include distinct sections focusing on Hong Kong and Macau and on mainland China. This makes the GEC Survey one of the most comprehensive surveys of its kind leveraging statistical comparisons based on year, jurisdiction, and subject matter.
We will try to help you make sense of the findings by providing context, by making observations based on what our experts see on the ground, and by making suggestions as to what can practically be done to address the issues raised.
