Global female demand for international mobility is at an all-time high – 71% of female millennials demand the work abroad experience but only 20% of the current internationally mobile population are female.
In China and Hong Kong, 92% female millennial believe gaining international experience is critical to furthering their career, while 97% male millennial share the same believe.
PwC surveyed 3,937 professionals from 40 countries to find out about their international mobility experiences and aspirations. Of 170 respondents from China and Hong Kong, 109 were women and 61 men. In parallel, PwC surveyed 134 executives with responsibility for global mobility to explore current mobility, talent management and diversity trends.
