Climate risk management and disclosure for fund managers

To position Hong Kong as a leading sustainable finance hub, financial regulators are incorporating international best practices in climate risk management. Following the conclusion of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC)’s consultation on the proposed amendments to the Fund Manager Code of Conduct (FMCC) in August 2021, fund managers have been given a transition period of 12-15 months to adopt climate-related risks into consideration in their investment and risk management processes, and to make appropriate disclosures in alignment with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD).  Find out more about the implications for fund managers and how we can help.
