Ni Qing is a Hong Kong CPA, an Australia CA, and a CFA charter holder. Prior to joining PwC Beijing in 2004, he worked on audit and advisory assignments in the financial services practice in PwC Sydney and PwC Singapore.
Ni Qing is a partner of PwC’s Private Equity Group (“PE Group”), and specializes in the audit of PE/VC funds as well as other alternative asset management industry asset classes. He has deep experience in auditing and advising PEVC funds to resolve their complex business, operation, accounting and tax issues. He has also organised and presented at numerous leading PE/VC industry technical forums, covering topics ranging from CAS / US GAAP/ IFRS to the enhancement of governance and internal controls of PE/VC fund operations.
Ni Qing is also experienced in capital markets having worked on an IFRS conversion project and a subsequent USD 11 billion IPO in HKSE for a major Chinese bank. His role involved preparation and participation for Board and Audit Committee meetings, regular meetings with senior executives, IPO project working groups and daily project management work of a large engagement team of over 100 professionals.
Mr. Ni currently serves a large number of leading China focused PE/VC funds and fund of funds, both onshore and offshore.
