Chief Risk Officer and Chief Digital Officer, PwC China
Jim is the Chief Risk Officer and Chief Digital Officer for PwC China. He is a member of the Firm's Executive leadership team with broad based responsibility for the digital agenda in an organisation comprising 25,000+ people. His remit includes the customer experience, digital solutions and new software product development; back office infrastructure including cloud based platforms; digitising our service delivery model; and digitally upskilling our people. At PwC we have a bold ambition to disrupt and innovate our traditional business model, to provide our clients and our people with a unique experience in the digital world of both today, and the near future.
Jim's clients have included many of PwC's most prestigious accounts. Based in Hong Kong, over the last 25+ years he has worked on assignments in every territory across the Asia Pacific region, and many global projects.
From 2011 to 2019, Jim was the Risk and Regulatory Services leader for PwC China and Asia Pacific overall, and between 2016 and 2019, he assumed the Global leadership role for this high growth business area. During his tenure, the business grew at 20% + on an annual basis.
Jim served as the Strategy Leader for PwC's Assurance business in China between 2006 and 2011, and in this role was a member of the PwC Global Assurance Strategy Team. He was also a member of the China Firm's Supervisory Board from 2006 to 2010.
Jim graduated from Kings College London in 1990 with a first class honours degree. He is a member of the ICAEW and the HKICPA.
