In his professional career, Shao Fei Huang has served in various roles at Singapore Land Transport Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Defence Science Organisation National Laboratories, Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technology and the InfoComm Development Authority.

As a Fellow of the Singapore Computer Society, Shao Fei currently serves as President of the Cyber Security (CS) Chapter of the Singapore Computer Society, and as a nominated Executive Committee Member of the Association of Information Security Professionals (AISP). Shao Fei is a member of the Coordinating Committee for Cybersecurity formed under the Singapore Standards Council, EC-Council Global Advisory Board, Black Hat Asia Board of Advisors, and GIAC Advisory Board.

Shao Fei received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tokyo under the support of the Singapore Public Service Commission and Japan Monbusho scholarships. He holds Master of Business Administration from the University of Leicester, in addition to qualifications for CITPM, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, ISSMP, ISSAP, TOGAF, CCSP, CCSK, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Security Specialty and GCFE certifications.

Shao Fei was inducted as Professional of the Year at the prestigious Singapore Computer Society IT Leader Awards 2020. He was also nominated to The Cybersecurity Observatory's Hall of Fame in January 2020, and inducted as AISP Validated Information Security Professional (AVIP) in March 2021.
