Xie Tao ("XT") is a partner in the PwC Beijing office and has spent a large part of his working career with Price Waterhouse in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai. He has undertaken numerous projects including acquisition support, system review and implementation, tax planning and negotiation, project facilitation and financial review of both PRC state-owned enterprises and foreign owned enterprises for local and international clients. He has also managed several assignments connected with the listing of state-owned enterprises in China and overseas and has conducted talks at several international forums on how to manage PRC investments. XT has been involved in over 100 buy side due diligence exercises throughout China.
XT studied physics at Beijing University and is a member of the UK Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He previously worked for a PRC government organisation in the policy making area and from 1993 to 1994, he was the district general manager of the China operations of a listed Hong Kong company. |
