Many companies are mobilising their Chinese employees overseas to the strategic markets to expand their business. But managing the mobility workforce can be incredibly complex and may even result in costly pitfalls if not managed properly. Very often, the employers will face challenges in cross-border tax compliance, overseas social security arrangement and immigration application, etc. They will also need to ensure that the international mobility programme is effective in order to achieve certain strategic goals, such as retaining the talents and attaining cost control targets.
In this webcast, our speakers from International Assignment Services shared our insights on the issues and solutions related to international assignments from tax and HR perspectives. We shared our practical experience in handling cases of cross-border assignments from PRC to the U.S. and Hong Kong, which are among the most common destinations for PRC’s overseas assignments.
