Peter is a Financial Services Partner and insurance practice leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong. He has 18 years of experience in providing assurance and consultancy services to insurance companies in London and Hong Kong and is both a UK Chartered Accountant and UK Chartered Insurance Practitioner. Peter has extensive audit experience of life and non-life insurance groups as well as reinsurance companies and intermediaries. This includes engagement and quality review partner roles on some of the largest insurance groups in Hong Kong and China, and reporting under IFRS and US GAAP. Peter is currently involved in a large prospective insurance IPO in the PRC and has also been involved in numerous transaction services and insurance-related regulatory and technical advisory projects in Hong Kong, mainland China and South East Asia. He is currently appointed as Provisional Liquidator to the HIH Insurance group in Hong Kong and is leading two insurance-related feasibility studies for Government.
