||Mei Gong is a Partner of transfer pricing services in PwC China based in Shanghai, where she specialises in transfer pricing consulting and tax support for more than 14 years. |
Ms. Gong has assisted many clients, including both multinational corporations and domestic companies, in assessing transfer pricing risks and formulating transfer pricing policy for tax planning purpose. She has demonstrated strong technical ability in designing and conducting many sophisticated transfer pricing benchmarking and financial modelling analyses across various industries. Ms. Gong has led many on-site negotiations with Chinese tax authorities in transfer pricing investigation defense. As main negotiator, she has assisted MNCs in concluding more than seven Advanced Pricing Agreements in different cities. Furthermore, she regularly presents in transfer pricing seminars to local tax authorities in many cities.
She had previously worked in PwC U.S. Transfer Pricing group. During this time period, she had extensive involvement in the development of tax planning models which analyzed R&D cost sharing, HQ cost allocation, and intangible analyses as part of global corporate restructuring effort.
Ms. Gong graduated from Guanghua School of Management at Beijing University and obtained an MBA degree from Loyola University in Chicago, USA.
