Janet is the Partner of Tax in PricewaterhouseCoopers China. Janet joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia firm in 1993 and joined Guangzhou practice in 1997. Janet has been involved in providing PRC tax and investment related consulting services to multinational corporations investing in China for more than 13 years.
Janet is specialised in providing merger and acquisitions advisory services and has led several large M&A projects including tax due diligence, deal structuring advice, post deal advice and tax efficient funding advice, etc.
Janet has extensive experience in the following areas:
- PRC tax due diligence in connection with various acquisition of PRC domestically-owned targets operating in a wide range of industries;
- PRC tax advice on merger and restructuring of China operations;
- Advice on the restructuring of the investment project in China prior to spin off of part of the operation; and
- Deal structuring and funding related issues in respect of the acquisition projects in China.
Janet is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
