2007 Illustrative Financial Statements for Authorized Institutions provides for an illustrative set of consolidated financial statements for an authorized institution incorporated in Hong Kong. The illustrative financial statements are prepared in accordance with the requirements published up to and including September 2007 as set out in:
- The Hong Kong Companies Ordinance;
- The Listing Rules (Main board) issued by the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited;
- The Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards ("HKFRS") issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants that are effective for financial year beginning on or after 1 January 2007;
- The disclosure requirements set out in the Banking (Disclosure) Rules under the Banking Ordinance; and
- The standardized approach under the Banking (Capital) Rules of the Banking Ordinance to calculate its capital charge for credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
No interpretations, standards or amendments have been early adopted.
