Elton Yeung is a partner in the Technology, Info-Communications and Entertainment practice of PwC. Elton joined PwC when the Mainland China and Hong Kong practices of PwC combined with Andersen in July 2002. He is also the current InfoComms Leader for Hong Kong and Mainland China practice.
Elton has over 15 years of extensive experience in providing advisory and assurance services to clients in Mainland China and Hong Kong, particularly in the Telecommunication sector. He has led numerous complex listing on overseas stock exchange engagements, restructuring and commercialization advisory for state-owned enterprises in China and in other privatization projects. In his role, he accumulated huge experience in resolving the complex accounting issues relating to revenue recognition, inter-segment cost allocation, and interconnect charging, and an in-depth understanding of the regulatory environment and accounting requirements for PRC telecommunication operators and the effective application of western accounting to the Chinese environment. Elton has designed several overseas training programs, mainly to the United States and Hong Kong companies for the executives of large-scale state-owned enterprises, covering topics such as application of US GAAP and IAS, regulatory accounting, and tariff setting mechanism.
Elton is a CPA in Hong Kong. He is a fellow member of The Chartered Association of Certified Public Professional Societies and associate member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Elton graduated from the University of Hong Kong, majored in Management Studies and Economics. |
