Elton Huang is a Tax Partner of PwC China and has been based in the Shanghai office since 1995. Elton is the Tax Domestic Market Leader and a member of the combined CN/HK Tax Executive Team. Elton has completed two tours of duty assignments: one in London with the European Mergers and Acquisitions Group and the other in San Jose, US.
Elton specialises in planning and implementing tax structures for Chinese companies, managing tax and regulatory due diligences and other M&A projects including Chinese companies’ outbound investment. His specific experience includes:
- Advising large-scale state-owned enterprises on how to optimise their operational and tax structures, identifying tax planning ideas post-IPO and assisting private companies in operational and tax restructuring for financing purposes;
- Assisting high and new technology enterprises in operational and tax restructuring for overseas financing purposes, especially in US IPOs;
- Advising Chinese clients on outbound tax and business matters related to their overseas investments, providing ideas and guidance in relation to structuring for domestic enterprises’ outbound investments;
- Advising on domestic restructuring, including mergers and acquisitions.
Elton is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and is a qualified Chinese Tax Agent. |
