Debra Wong joined PwC as a result of the combination of the Mainland China and Hong Kong practices of PwC with Andersen in July 2002 and she is currently a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Technology, Info-Comms and Entertainment (TICE) practice in Hong Kong.
Debra has extensive experience in providing accounting, auditing and business advisory services to clients particularly in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors. In 1991, she was seconded to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong for six months to assist them in a special assignment. Her experiences include advising clients on merger and acquisitions, group re-organisations, financial investigations, due diligence, compilation of profit forecasts, debt and equity issues as well as risk management. Debra also has considerable experience in helping companies list successfully on the HKSE (Main Board and GEM) and overseas stock exchanges such as NASDAQ, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and the Australian Stock Exchange.
Debra is a member of the Mainland Affairs Committee and the Professional Standards Monitoring Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants; Fellow, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Debra received her higher education at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. |
