David is an Australian Chartered Accountant and was admitted as a partner in Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in 1983.
Prior to coming to Shanghai in early 1997, David practised in Australia and Papua New Guinea advising various multi-national corporate and individual clients on tax-effective structuring of both inward and outward investments.
David is a specialist individual tax partner in Shanghai where he advises on tax-effective employee remuneration planning and oversees the delivery of individual income tax return compliance services to employers and their employees. He also coordinates the development and use of technology within our China individual income tax practice to optimise client service efficiency and effectiveness.
David is an active participant in the international business community and is a former Chair of the Executive Committee of the Australia China Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. He is an experienced speaker at seminars in China and the Asia-Pacific region on Tax-Effective Remuneration Planning and related PRC Individual Income Tax issues. |
