Christopher Chan is a partner based in Hong Kong. He has over 20 years of professional auditing and advisory experience, and has been specialising for the past 10 years on providing corporate recovery, corporate finance, and financial due diligence advisory services to a wide range of clients in Hong Kong and the PRC.
Over the period, he has been significantly involved in the following:
- Advising Fujian Enterprises (window company of the Fuzhou Municipal People's Government) in relation to its restructuring (US$450 million in debt).
- Advising Guangzhou International Trust & Investment Corp (GZITIC) in relation to the restructuring of its US$1 billion of indebtedness to foreign creditors.
- Providing financial advisory services on over 50 corporate finance assignments in Hong Kong and the PRC including infrastructure projects, property investment, and trading and manufacturing businesses.
- Eight corporate recovery assignments of HKSE listed companies involving assets and businesses in Hong Kong and the PRC.
