Benjamin is a partner in the Transaction Services Group. He is based in our Shanghai office. He has over 12 years of professional service experience and has worked in both China and the UK.
Benjamin has undertaken nearly 100 projects including buy-side due diligence (full access or data room review) for foreign investment in China, China domestic transactions and Chinese companies investing overseas. He is also experienced in providing other M&A related advisory services such as negotiation support, business valuation analysis and post deal integration planning.
The deals Benjamin has been involved in over the past three years cover broad range of industries and included:
- A consortium of US private equity firms' proposed acquisition of a state-owned pharmaceutical group, which controls a listed company and over 10 unlisted subsidiaries
- A leading European company's acquisitions of two Chinese top consumer product businesses
- A leading Chinese oil company's proposed acquisition of an oilfield in South America
- A merger of two state-owned telecommunication enterprises
- A Hong Kong company's acquisition of one of China's largest power plants
Benjamin has a masters degree in business administration from the University of Warwick in the UK and is a Certified Public Accountant in China. |
