Suzanne Wat

Suzanne Wat is a tax partner in the Technology, Info-Comms and Entertainment (TICE) practice in Hong Kong. She joined PwC Hong Kong in 1992.

Suzanne’s principal focus is on the telecommunications (Info-Comms) industry. She specialises in advising operators on tax efficient structures for their international operations and business model transformations, often working with telecom specialists in the Advisory practice of the firm. She is currently PwC Hong Kong's Info-Comms tax leader.

Suzanne also leads the Tax Management Accounting Services (TMAS) practice in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region. She advises local and multinational companies on income tax accounting matters under IFRS and US GAAP, and has considerable experience in supporting global tax engagements at the regional level. As regional TMAS leader she also supports clients in the assessment of their internal tax control environment and the effectiveness of their tax functions.

Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree. She is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also Fellow of The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong.
